SAVE THE ELEPHANTS
By Dusty INTRODUCTION Elephant species are dying out! Help us save the elephants. In 1930 there were 10 million African Elephants. Now there are only 1.3 million African elephants left! That's all because we are hunting them. But hunting is not the only danger. Elephants need 100-150 liters of water a day. And in the summer they can barely get enough water. Also tigers eat baby elephants that wander away from the herd. HELPING THE ELEPHANTS Thankfully the law enforced some laws preventing people from hunting elephants. Some hunters stopped hunting elephants but there still are some poachers. The main reason people are hunting elephants is for their ivory (the tusks). Which can be made into tools. ELEPHANT BREADING Elephants are very helpful when a baby is coming. They prepare like humans do. When a baby is coming all his\her ancestors are there.
